The AIM MBM Class 1974 is perhaps one of the most “bonded” classes in AIM. This bonding started with AIM MBM classes, which required students to stay in the dorm for 3-6 months in face-to-face settings during their first year in the 2-year MBM course. After graduation, the class had frequent reunions (weekly, monthly, semi-annually, and annually) in some hangouts like Café Rizal or private residences like Manny and Marisa Sibal’s home and TR Mohan’s condo. The class loved to travel locally and globally. Locally, they “trekked” from North to South Philippines—Baguio and Benguet, Iloilo and Bacolod, Davao. Globally, some members traveled to Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Europe (via Slovenia when Nonoy Yulo was consul), and the US.

The recent Christmas Party held at Jade Garden (owned by Peter Ng) last Dec. 6, 2024, included the spouses of the class.

The AIM MBM Class of 1974 serves as an inspiring example of how strong bonds formed during student years can evolve into lifelong friendships. Their story highlights the unique spirit of the AIM community, where connections forged in the halls of learning extend well beyond graduation.
