The Alumni Association organized a Leadership Tour in Bangkok, Thailand last Jan 31- Feb 03, 2020. The tour was spearheaded by AAAIM Chair Ms. Corazon Jimenez, MDM 2002 in cooperation with the AIM Alumni Association Thailand (AAAT). The delegates were welcomed by Mr. Sumeth Amornjaruchit, AAAT Chapter Head and treated to a sumptuous cocktail at the T-House Rama Restaurant hosted by the Thai Chapter.
The next day, the delegates attended the International Conference with a theme ‘Winning strategy to survive your business in disruptive future” where our dear FAIM Chapter Heads served as the panel speakers.
Another group went on a tour in Samphram Crocodile and Elephant Zoo and Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, which is the most popular floating market in Thailand. They had a close encounter with the crocodiles and elephants. The elephant theme show and the crocodile wrestling show are the highlight events at this zoo. One of the famous tourist spots in Bangkok.
They also visited the Jim Thompson House Museum. Jim Thompson is an American who fell in love with Thailand and live here permanently. He is a highly gifted designer and textile colorist who contributed to the industry’s growth & worldwide recognition accorded to Thai silk.
